FlightStats and Harris Partner to Deliver Advanced Airport Analytics to the Airport Community

FlightStats is pleased to announce a strategic relationship with Harris Corporation to provide a comprehensive real-time and historical flight data analysis tool to the airport community. The new solution, Symphony® Airport Analytics Workbook, enables airfield, finance and planning personnel to run real-time or historical reports on key airport performance metrics such as gate utilization, taxi-times, passenger flow, hub analysis, departure and arrival statistics, as well as diversions.

The web-based solution allows airports to view and report on their performance with data updated every 5 minutes. Users have access to key operational information that can help them to proactively make decisions on the same day or run historical reports as far back as 2011. All data is easily downloadable as tabular reports, graphs and charts to help share and report on airport performance.

“We are excited to partner with FlightStats to deliver advanced and easy-to-use airport performance analytics and reporting to the airport community”, said Chris Zanardi, Commercial Director for Symphony.  “Streamlining reporting and gaining insight on key metrics, such as gate utilization, diversions, taxi-times and on time performance are critical requirements for multiple departments within an airport.  The Analytics Workbook significantly expands the real-time and historical reporting capabilities of the Symphony portfolio for our airport customers”.

“Harris is an ideal partner for FlightStats with a very capable and complementary suite of products for airport operations. The combination of the Harris Symphony platform and FlightStats Analytics will help airport operations people make game-changing, data-driven decisions on how to improve their operational efficiency and increase their return on assets,” said David White, FlightStats Chief Customer Officer.

Harris will be demoing the Analytics Workbook next week at AAAE in Houston, Texas, and will be conducting informational Webinars in June.  To schedule an Analytics Workbook demo please contact Danielle Molder at or 703-668-6096.
