Adelaide International Airport (airport code ADL) is located 8 kilometers west of the South Australian capital city. The 5th busiest airport in Australia, Adelaide has one terminal, Terminal 1, which reopened in 2005 after major renovations. The terminal is divided into three levels and hosts over 7 million passengers each year. Rental cars and taxis provide transport between the airport and the city. Skylink provides service between the airport and the major hotels and rail and bus stations. Over 10 airlines serve the airport with flights covering Australia and Asia. In 2007, the airport was rated "World's 2nd Best Airport" in the 5-15 million passengers category by Airport Council International.
