Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris (airport code CDG) is Europe's 2nd busiest airport after London's Heathrow. It is located 23 kilometers northeast of Paris and connected by a 45-minute train ride to the city. Named for the President of the French Republic during WWII, Charles de Gaulle Airport has three terminals - Terminal 1 serves international travelers, Terminal 2 servers Air France and other European airlines while Terminal 3 serves charter flights only. Wooing international travelers for decades, Paris is home to such world-renowned marvels as the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower.
