The airport is fine, clean, comfortable etc however the persistant time share sellers when you arrive is NOT a good welcome to Mexico. They can be rude and obnoxious and when I said no I was told to go back to my own country (Charming!) .............they are not a good advert for the wonderful people who you will meet whilst in Mexico.
Great airport for Mexico! Definitely not the quality of a typical US airport but it has everything that you really need. I love flying in and out of here!
Getting past the ".... Oh you MUST come here" people selling Timeshares is a pain in the ass. They lure you into thinking that they are security agents. ADVICE stop for no one unless they are a Police Officer put ypour head down and get outside as fast as possible.
lOST MY SMARTPHONE INSIDE REGISTERED LUGGAGE, AT CUSTOMS. lOST MY GOLF HARD CASE AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET AFTER 4 DAYS. CHAGED GATE AT LAST MINUTE AND DIDN'T SHOW ON TERMINAL SCREEN. MUST TAKE BUS TO PLANE AND CLIMB STAIRS AS IN 70'S
They made me unpack my carry-on 3 or 4 times before I got on the plane. But what really pissed me off was the Margaritaville in the terminal blasting Jimmy Buffet music at 5 in the morning while I waited for my flight.
New Terminal 3 is Excelent and a new runway is being built.
the terminal 3 is horrible, no chairs or something to sit on, you have to wait standing for the people. The prices are very high(taxis, food, etc)
Better than I expected but a tremedous lack of seating at the gates.
Extremely busy terminal but you can spend your waiting time in the "sterile" area comfortably as the restaurants are varied and there are several shops and even a bar.
Only problem is in high season due to the humongous number of passengers arriving or departing which makes for extra long lines, but is the price of being an extremely popular destination.
