Our biggest changes are in our flight rating applications. They have been revamped to have a more consistent look and feel with our flight status applications and they have been enhanced with a lot more capability. The existing flight rating by route application already had some capabilities that might not have been obvious. When looking at ratings by a route, you can see the individual flight ratings or group the ratings by airline. You can also drill in on a particular airline. We tried to make this more obvious by adding controls to the widget.
In addition to enhancing the existing flight rating applications, we also added two more applications. Flight rating by airline gives you some overall information about a particular airline as well as the top 20 routes (based on number of observations) that the airline (or a codeshare partner) serves. In addition we now offer flight rating by time of day which shows route level performance information based on the time of day the flight flies. Like the other route application you can also specify a particular airline.
Our flight monitor/notification applications have changed as well. We added a management tool where you can log in and see all the flights you have set up to monitor as well as the messages that were sent to you.
Want to know what the traffic is like around the airport before you leave? Check out the new airport traffic conditions application. The application, available for airports within the United States, reports on various traffic problems you might run into.
If you are a Google user, be sure to check out our Google Co-op subscribed links. Current airport delays as well as links to airports, airlines, route related information and flight status is only a Google search away.
In other areas, we continue enhancing our data coverage and are pleased to announce a lot more Asian coverage. We are also making more improvements on our database to make sure you get the results you want in a timely fashion.
