FlightStats June 2012 On-time Performance Report
Tokyo's Haneda outperformed the rest of the world's busiest airports by over 10 percentage points. US airports rounded out the top 5 in June.

North American airlines, on average, delivered 75.73% of their flights to the arrival gate within 15 minutes of schedule in June, down a little over 3 percentage points from May. Cancellations were up .3 percentage points over May with 11,405 cancelled flights. North America's top 10 performing airlines and their on-time arrival percentages in June were:
QX Horizon Air - 93.73% HA Hawaiian Airlines - 93.05% YV Mesa Airlines - 87.99% AS Alaska Airlines - 87.97% CM Copa Airlines - 87.57% CP Compass Airlines - 87.43% JIA PSA Airlines - 85.33% US US Airways - 85.19% 9M Central Mountain Air - 84.97% FL Airtran Airways - 84.69%
Alaska Airlines, US Airways and Delta led the majors in June. Here's how the North American major carriers on-time arrival percentages compared:

Smaller, regional European airlines once again turned in strong performances in June with Cimber, Air Baltic and Brit Air leading the way. 8 European airlines we tracked delivered > 90% of their flights to the gate on time. The average OTP for the group was 80.93% in June, down from 84.54% in May. The top ten on-time arrival performers among European carriers were:

Singapore's Tiger Airways, India's SpiceJet and IndiGo airlines joined an array of Japanese airlines to capture the top 10 on-time performance positions in June as JAL, ANA, their subsidiaries and independent Hokkaido International battled it out for leadership. The average on-time performance rating among the 38 airlines we analyzed in June 73.76%, down slightly from May's 75.9%. Here are the top ten's on-time arrival percentage numbers:

This is our second quarterly on-time performance report on Middle Eastern airlines. Jazeera Airways continued to demonstrate its operational excellence with > 94% of its flights arriving on time. SLC, PDX and SEA outperformed their North American counterparts in June for the second month in a row each managing over 86% on-time departures. The average on-time departure performance for the group in June was 78.77%, down considerably from May's 82.07%.
